introduction

Yukari is one of the most well known characters in Touhou project, having her wonderful appearance, iconic clothing, hag love, etc etc. You're in a esoteric Touhou sub-archive, you obviously know who she is goddamn it. On doing planetary metaphysical correlations with her, she is a Venusian, and a very powerful one at that.

Saturn?

At first with her focus on "boundaries", one may be induced to believe she's saturnine, which to a certain degree would be true. She's one of the authorities on Gensokyo and maintains it's structure through many well tuned boundaries. So you could say that from a POV of those in-gensokyo she's Saturnine.

Saturn, a planet of structures, exalts in Libra, because Libra is the main force behind Logic(The element of air). Libra is the desire to impose Harmony, thus being the cardinal sign of Air, as "thinking" is making things harmonious inside of your mind, to "communicate" is to make the mind of another equalized to yours, etc. Saturn exalts(gets powerful) there because such venusian energies affirms it's nature.

She maintains things fine tuned to maintain Gensokyo separated from the outside world, which is a harmony-seeking goal, requiring structure. Point being, her nature having a more saturnine outlook to those below her grasp (the whole of Gensokyo) is not a surprise nor contradictory to her Venusian overall nature in our(outside world) pov, which we are about to go into.

Yukari established the Boundary between Fantasy and the outside world with the goal of creating a place which fantastic creatures can thrive. Why are all of them cute anime girls? because it's beautiful of course. It's what people desire and love, moe! Beauty for beauty's sake.

She estabilished harmony to create something which is that beautiful and idealistic. Venus rules not only Libra as the concept of harmony, but also Taurus, the concept of values, beauty, abundance, what is "good", pleasurable(Notice how none of this requires being real. A 100 dollar bill is as Taurus in nature as an anime girl for those who value it, that is because values aren't real in the first place. But I'm overstretching here) Tl;dr Taurus is the concept of beauty, thus not only her means(Libra) but also her goal was Venusian(Taurus)

Her personality is another thing which brings in venusian nature. She's unquestionably old and powerful, but she's generally shown acting(and appearing) like she's a Young-adult girl, which is a characteristic venusian behavior.

One can argue all girls in Gensokyo act in a Venusian way from my vague description, but that helps the argument. For as said in the 2 paragraphs before this one, She is the evil mastermind behind this.

The 2 phases of Venus

Venus is known for having two phases, one when it (from our perspective here on earth) rises first than the Sun, called the Morning Star. In Western traditio nal astrology, when a planet rises first than the Sun, it's considered to be "masculinized" as in, more energetic, outgoing and with a taking/go-getting nature instead of a passive/receiving nature.

You may have recognized the name morning star as also one of the names given to Lucifer in abrahamic religions, and that is no coincidence. Venus, the planet of beauty and overall value becomes unnaturally energetic when it is in its morning star phase, becoming prideful and hedonistic.

The other phase is the total opposite, Venus is extra glorified by being in it, the feminized stage where it rises after the Sun, Thus only being seen in the evening. Gaining it's fame, gaining it's name, the Evening Star.

Venus is currently in an evening star in the day which I'm writing this, 10 of July of 2026. Venus is extra benefic in this stage, bringing more abundance in natal charts that have it. Yukari is correlated by her theme in TH 7.5 to that Venusian phase.

Her sigil shown in the grimoire of Marisa is even more close to the original 8 pointed star of Ishtar(If you're wondering why I'm bringing her up, it's because she's the oldest Venusian archetypal entity in recorded history)

Conclusion + Optimal timing for prayers and offers

Friday is Venus' day in both Western and eastern thought, it's a no brainer to choose such day if you are to try contacting/worshipping her in any form. All of the following aren't obligations you need to follow, just overall recommendations. Following all of these would optimize the success of a Yukari related rite, for your personal reasons maybe.

-Taking a shower beforehand, being clean and in a clean space

-On a friday

-Evening star period, Venus culminating

-If Venus culmination is not achievable, the first hour of evening

-Handmaking her sigil

-Looking at it beforehand for a few minutes, without thought only contemplation.

-offerings may be Food (anything but salty foods, although citrics can work), wine and also spreading her sigil in places to bring her more attention/increase her influence
